Make + NP + Infinitive, Get + NP + To-Infinitive

        I.            Make + NP + Base Verb (Infinitive sans “to”)

Structure :
Make + nom/pronom + base verbale

Usage :
– Cette structure est utilisée pour indiquer que quelqu’un force ou oblige une autre personne à faire quelque chose.

Exemples :
– The teacher made the students stand up.
– His parents made him apologize.
– This movie made me cry.

Remarques :
– Le verbe principal après le complément est à la forme de base (infinitif sans “to”).
– Cela exprime une action imposée ou provoquée directement.

    II.            Get + NP + To-Infinitive

Structure :
Get + nom/pronom + to + base verbale

Usage :
– Cette structure signifie persuader, convaincre ou amener quelqu’un à faire quelque chose.
– Elle est moins directe que “make”.

Exemples :
– I got him to help me.
– She got her brother to fix the bike.
– They got the children to clean their room.

Remarques :
– Le verbe après le complément est à l’infinitif avec “to”.
– Cette structure implique souvent un effort de persuasion.

 III.            Différence entre “Make” et “Get”

– Make : implique une obligation ou contrainte directe.
Exemple : The teacher made the student repeat the sentence.
– Get : implique une persuasion ou arrangement indirect.
Exemple : The teacher got the student to repeat the sentence.
